Who: The ball was organised by HNC Events students from Inverness College UHI, who were joined by fellow classmates and students, college lecturer Liz Ashburn, friends and family. The event team were Lauren Darbyshire, Caitlin Feeney, Kym Hunt, Linda Sawyer and Alex Warren.
Why: As part of their HNC Events course, the students have to organise and host a charity event, so they chose a masquerade ball with a DJ and raffle, with items donated by local businesses. There was also a competition for the best mask on the night.
The chosen charity was the Special Care Baby Unit at Raigmore Hospital. Almost £500 was raised for the unit.
