Why: The biennial event took place to raise money for the Highland Hospice Project Build Appeal, and around £70,000 was raised on the night. Highland Hospice launched the Project Build Appeal to raise the funds required to rebuild its in-patient unit in Inverness. So far, £3.2million has been raised, with a further £1.3million to go. STV’s Nicola McAlley hosted the evening and music came from the Jock Fraser dance band. There was also an auction on the night which was conducted by Daniel Urquhart, from the Dingwall Mart.
