Entrepreneurs from a range of businesses in the north-east attended the prestigious event, with Graeme Bone, of Drum Property Group, being awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year award, and Jimmy Milne, of Balmoral Group, receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to innovation and engineering in the north-east energy sector.
Why: Top local businesses were “elevated” to new heights at the prestigious awards night, now in its 16th year, which is held to celebrate the north-east’s entrepreneurial spirit. Companies including young up-and-coming businesses, family owned enterprises and long-established firms throughout the north-east were rewarded for their hard work and determination to succeed.
