Where: A specially constructed marquee in Aberdeen’s Union Terrace Gardens.
Who: This year was the biggest masked ball to date, with 420 guests in attendance. Top sponsors Clarksons and BP were represented, as well as corporate guests from across the north-east.
Guests were greeted on arrival with entertainment from saxophone player Ben Light and pianist Ken Teow. A surprise appearance from London Essentials had guests up dancing during dinner, with the final entertainment set coming from Revolution 7.
Why: The masked ball is one of Friends of ANCHOR’s biggest events and raised an outstanding £84,000. Every penny will go directly into helping north-east cancer and haematology patients receiving treatment at the ANCHOR Unit.
