What: The 12th annual Northern Star Business Awards, which recognise companies in the north-east for their accomplishments across a range of fields.
Where: The Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Who: Thirty-nine finalists joined the 750 guests with Balmoral Group’s Jimmy Milne receiving the lifetime achievement award. Sports presenter Hazel Irvine hosted the event.
Why: Fourteen awards were handed out during the evening to celebrate achievements by north-east businesses. Over £6,500 was raised for charity, which will be split between the five nominated charities this year – Aberdeen FC Community Trust, DA (Drugs and Alcohol), Satrosphere, The ARCHIE Foundation and The Bread Maker.
