Where: The atrium area of the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) building at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Who: More than 250 donors, fundraisers and Anchor patients attended the bi-annual Appreciation Afternoon.
Why: The event, hosted by Friends of Anchor, offered behind the scenes tours of research laboratories and interactive information stands. Consultants, research fellows and the charity’s wellbeing team all hosted stands in order to share information about the latest equipment, research and initiatives funded by Friends of Anchor in its endeavour to bring the best possible treatment, care and support to north-east cancer and haematology patients.
