Who: Almost 400 guests enjoyed the Vienna-themed evening which was headlined by Scots singer.
Why: To raise money for Children 1st, Scotland’s national children’s charity, some great prizes – including a Mediterranean cruise on a private yacht and an exclusive composition from Royal wedding composer Professor Paul Mealor – were auctioned off. A raffle was also drawn for the famous Banchory Bangle, designed and made by Royal engraver Dr Malcolm Appleby.
The annual event raised £140,000 for the charity, which helps families to put children first, with practical advice and support in difficult times.
