When does your weekend start?
It depends whether I am working or not. If I am, Saturday morning; if not, Friday night.
Perfect night in?
Nice meal. DVD – Gone With the Wind or The Sound of Music.
Perfect night out?
Nice meal – do you notice a pattern here – followed by a visit to the theatre or cinema.
Ideal weekend partner?
Someone with a car, as I don’t drive.
Favourite weekend shopping destination?
I avoid the shops at the weekend; they’re too busy.
Favourite place to walk?
There are many fabulous walks around Glasgow, but I still like to return to the hills and coast of Ayrshire, where I grew up.
Weekend you’d love to live again?
My Aunt’s 80th birthday in Singapore: lunch at Raffles Hotel and a cruise in the bay to Kusu Island to see the sacred turtles.
Weekend you’d hate to live again?
Travelling back from Hereford while the west-coast railway line was being upgraded, as it seemed to take all weekend.
Perfect Sunday breakfast?
Eggs Benedict and coffee. (Over 1,000 calories. Ouch!)
Your cure for the Sunday blues?
Get out and do something.
Your dream weekend (if money was no object)?
New York and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.
Iain Wotherspoon plays Nanny McSmee in the fun panto Peter Pan, which runs until Sunday, January 10, at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness. Contact: 01463 234234 or www.eden-court.co.uk
