Where: Deeside Care Home (formerly known as Rowan Court Care Home) in Cults.
Who: Staff, residents, families and special guests attended the event and enjoyed drinks and canapes and a tour of the refurbished facility. The official re-opening was performed by Professor Ian Murray, head of school, School of Nursing and Midwifery, at Robert Gordon University.
Why: The care home has undergone an extensive refurbishment thanks to a £3million upgrade by owners Deeside Care LLP. The project is part of a £22million programme of investment across Aberdeen.
The event was held to allow guests to see the refreshed facilities which include a spa, library, cinema, hair salon, therapy room and cafe/bar.
