What: The Aberdeen Society of Architects (ASA) Centenary
Dinner and Design Awards.
Where: The Chester Hotel, Aberdeen.
Who: There were 200 guests in attendance, including RIAS president Willie Watt, RIAS secretary Neil Baxter and DIA president and ASA Design Award judge Christine Palmer. All sectors of the construction industry were represented.
Why: As well as celebrating 100 years of The Aberdeen Society of Architects, the evening also saw the presentation of the annual Design Awards. The winners will subsequently be submitted by the chapter for the prestigious RIAS Andrew Doolan Best Building in Scotland Award.
