We all enjoy a good meal and with the festive season fast approaching we are all getting busier and have less time to make them ourselves.
Thankfully Moray and Nairn has some fantastic places to enjoy good quality food – no matter your tastes – so you will always find some crackin’ grub.
We’ve come up with a list of some places you should book a table at ASAP.

With an amazing range including their signature brunches, hot filled rolls, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, toasties and home-made soup, Four Two HQ is well worth a visit. If you’re in the Forres area, why not have your food delivered direct to you from 9.30am.
They also use a unique blend of local produce including Murdoch Brothers steaks for their monthly steak night as well as cakes made by local companies Gateax Regal and Love Cake, hot chocolate from The Chocolate Place, coffee roasted in the Cairngorms and buffalo reared in Dallas.

The Red Lion, Forres
The Red Lion is a cracking venue for lunch and dinner situated right in the heart of Forres. They have a menu bursting with local ingredients served up by some good old-fashioned cooking.
When she took over the Red Lion, owner Carrie Custodio, had a simple and grand plan: to create a great place to eat and drink. And we’d say she’s bang on so far.
Her friendly team of staff and their unrelenting love of local food and belief in creating a great experience for guests has resulted in making the Red Lion an absolute must visit.
There’s also live music every Saturday night and real ales by the pint load helping to generate a fantastic atmosphere to eat, drink and enjoy.
