Wine and cheese are often combined, but what about pairing beer and cheese?
Two of the Highlands’ best-known organic producers, Black Isle Brewery and The Cheese Pantry at Connage, have got together to organise a special food and music event at the brewery site in the Black Isle this Saturday, July 26.
Beer and cheese will be paired, and there’s a chance to meet the producers, learn how beer and cheese are made, eat the produce and listen to some great music.
Among those appearing are Esperi, Dorec-a-Belle, Dr Wook and Douglas Scott.
The event runs from noon until 9pm, with a barbecue offering organic lamb burgers from 2pm. Admission costs £5. Contact: 01463 811 871.
