Members of the local and wider community paid a visit to Banchory in the hundreds yesterday.
Held at the Milton of Crathes Events Field, the town’s Affa Fine Open Air Market, one of Aberdeenshire’s largest regular open-air retail experiences, returned.
The event, which took place from 10am to 2pm, welcomed a line-up of local makers, market traders and car boots.
It aims to promote local arts and crafts, repurposing and upcycling, clothing and accessories, and home and garden, as well as food and drink.
There were a number of food and drink businesses in attendance, selling everything from home bakes, ice cream and gin to seafood and sauces.
In terms of those dishing out desserts, Lolly’s Ice Cream, The Wee Brown Mouse Bakery, Little Molly’s Cheesecake, Col’s Baking Kits and Shorty’s Ice Cream Parlour were at hand to satisfy visitors’ sweet tooth.
Other stallholders included:
- The Witches Kitchen
- Bannerman Butchers
- Courie Courie Bakery
