Westhill restaurant Glentanar Brasserie & Bar is reopening its doors to the public next week following an extensive refurbishment.
Inspired by Aberdeen’s natural heritage, the venue will bring guests a relaxed yet elevated Scottish dining experience.
This comes after a £340,000 investment on the restaurant and garden refurbishment by Cairn Hotel Group. The brasserie is located in Holiday Inn Aberdeen West.
The new interiors have been designed to suit any occasion from intimate dinners and group celebrations to providing a space for hotel guests to unwind.
Steak fries and an Irn-Bru cocktail
The new menu at Glentanar Brasserie & Bar boasts a modern approach to timeless brasserie dishes.
It features everything from smoky whisky treacle cured steak frites (fries) and braised blade of Scotch beef to silky smooth oat milk panna cotta and sharing boards filled with Scottish cheeses and meats.
Dish prices on the main menu range from £4.95 to £18.95.
On the drinks front, expect a range of signature cocktails and serves showcasing the country’s wide range of spirits, beers and soft drinks.
Cocktails include a cranachan sour made with Scottish Heather Honey, raspberry liqueur and Glenmorangie 10 Year Old, and a Scottish spritz featuring Rhubarb and Ginger Edinburgh Gin and Irn-Bru.
Draught cocktails cost £9 while signature concoctions are priced at £9.50.
Features in the brasserie include large tan leather booths and beech wood tables, while the new alfresco space is complete with heaters, a wood burner and a custom-made canopy.
Hotel manager Natalie Anderson said: “After a short break, we’re delighted to welcome our customers back to Glentanar Brasserie & Bar at Holiday Inn Aberdeen West.
“From its brand-new interior design inspired by the area’s rich history to the new menu which gives Brasserie classics a modern Scottish twist, we can’t wait to open our doors and give our guests an authentic Scottish dining experience.”
Cairn Hotel Group has also invested £80,000 in the renovation of Luigi’s, Holiday Inn Aberdeen West’s much-loved family Italian restaurant situated opposite Glentanar Brasserie & Bar.
The newly refurbished Luigi’s is complete with a speciality pizza oven and a make-your-own Gelato station.
