Hundreds of people across the north-east have donned their walking boots to raise vital cash in the 2022 Aberdeen Kiltwalk.
This year’s event was spread across three venues, with different route lengths at each.
Mighty Striders – those taking on the 26-mile trek – started from Potarch Green.
Meanwhile those participating in the 15-mile Big Stroll set off from Crathes Castle, and the three-mile Wee Wander took place at Goals Aberdeen.
All of this year’s walkers collected sponsorships from friends, family and loved ones, with the cash all going to good causes across the country.
And every penny raised has been topped an extra 50% by philanthropist Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation.
In recent years, walkers have raised a total of £22 million – with an extra £11m added on.
It’s hoped the 2022 Aberdeen Kiltwalk will help these totals soar even further.
We sent our photographer Kenny Elrick along to capture the day.
Do you know anyone in our gallery featuring some of this year’s walkers?
This year’s Kiltwalk began in Glasgow on April 24, and will move to Dundee on August 21.
It will be followed by an event in Edinburgh on September 18, with a national virtual event on October 7-9.
