First-time buyers, Samantha Low and Lewis Johnston recently took an exciting step on the property ladder and bought their first home with Stewart Milne Homes in Cove, just south of Aberdeen.
The couple moved into the three-bedroom Argyll home in autumn last year after viewing a number of properties and Charleston was the perfect place to start their life together.
Samantha, 25, and Lewis, 25, both work in the oil and gas industry, Samantha in recruitment and Lewis as a welder fabricator.
Like many young couples, they lived with their parents until they had finally saved enough money for their dream home.
Growing up in Portlethen, Samantha was familiar with the area and was drawn to its close proximity to Aberdeen city but without the high cost that comes with living right in the city centre.
As well as picking up the keys to their brand new home, Samantha and Lewis also benefited from Stewart Milne Homes’ First Time Buyer plan which gave them a choice of stylish furniture and a home cinema system to ensure they had everything in place from the moment they turned the key.
The spacious Argyll home provided an ideal canvas to bring the interiors to life and the pair opted for a contemporary colour palette with grey and muted tones throughout.
The Argyll is an eye-catching home with plenty of flexible space to meet the couple’s needs. The entrance hall leads directly to a light and airy living room which continues to a spacious kitchen and dining room complete with Smeg integrated appliances, breakfast bar and French doors out to the private garden.
A convenient downstairs cloakroom completes the ground floor of the home.
Upstairs, the home features a great master bedroom with en-suite shower room and built-in wardrobe, two further bedrooms, one with fitted wardrobes, and a good-sized family bathroom with fitted vanity furniture.
Lewis said: “We’re absolutely thrilled with our new home.
“It’s exactly what we were looking for with spacious rooms, plenty of storage and in a location we are both familiar with.
“We had looked around at a few properties but as soon as we saw Stewart Milne Homes’ Charleston development, we had our hearts set on it.
Karen Reid, sales manager at Stewart Milne Homes, knows just how nerve-wracking buying your first home can be.
“Buying your first home is an exciting time with lots of things to think about from deposits to interior,” she said.
“Our First Time Buyer Plan has been created to provide support through every step of the process, from helping to find the perfect home to working with solicitors to make the experience as simple as possible.
“We offer buyers a great choice of furniture to choose from, ensuring that their new home not only features all the right elements but also meets their individual tastes and style.”
Prices at Charleston start from £229,995.
