Reaction from those visiting the new Culzean show-home, pictured, at Tulloch’s Greenfields development in Inverness has been fantastic, with descriptions such as “the most stunning showhome in Inverness,” being typical of the feedback received.
The superbly styled Culzean four-bedroom showhome was unveiled two weeks ago, and already 10 homes in the final phase of the highly popular, Greenfields development at Slackbuie have been snapped up.
“The elevated location offers fantastic views over the Moray Firth,” said Lynne Boyd, Tulloch Homes sales director. “And many of the new homes have the benefit of backing on to open landscape.
“We’re delighted at the early sales surge. The show home has generated a host of hugely positive comments, with visitors saying it’s the most impressive in the city.
“It’s also pleasing that existing Tulloch Homes owners are looking to upgrade at Greenfields and we’re receiving many enquiries from this sector.”
The Culzean, with double integral garage, is a very superior detached property featuring 177 square feet of internal floor space. Its picture windows offer splendid vistas over the city to the Firth.
The other top-of-the-range home available is the Rannoch which has four bedrooms and a detached garage and is priced at £370,000. Extremely spacious, there is the option of a downstairs room becoming a study or a fifth bedroom.
The Etive, also four bedrooms with detached garage, comes in at £275,000 – great value for superb product and finish, while the ‘starter’ in the four-bedroom category is the Tweed at £239,000, which is highly popular in the Tulloch range.
A total of 55 detached and semi-detached homes, the majority detached, are being built at Greenfields, which is in the Slackbuie area and close to the new Inverness Royal Academy.
Some 250 homes have been sold there by Tulloch Homes over the last few years, so this last opportunity to own a Greenfields home is attractive – even more so because the Scottish Government’s Help To Buy scheme applies to several of them.
For instance, the Corran three-bedroom semi-detached villa, at £200,000, could come with up to £30,000 Help To Buy assistance.
The Calder three-bedroom detached villa is on offer at £225,000 while the larger Affric, with garage, a long-standing favourite in the Tulloch portfolio, is at £248,000.
“There are incentives available on selected homes for fast movers,” said Lynne.
Energy efficient features such as modern, efficient gas central heating and the latest double glazing, all add to the spacious interior design, allowing the house types at Greenfields to combine high levels of comfort and economy, allied to security and energy saving.
Greenfields is strategically located, with several excellent primary schools plus childcare facilities close by, plus an Asda and Inshes Retail Park, and easy connectivity to the distributor road network with ready access to the city centre, A9, A96 or A82.
Debra Mackay is Tulloch Homes’ sales consultant on site. She is available there Thursday to Sunday (10.30am to 5pm) and Monday (noon to 5pm) or contact her at 01463 715412.
As the new Greenfield phase opens, the award-winning The Parks development is nearing sellout and the handsome show home is for sale at exceptional value at £350,000.
It is four-bedroom detached with double garage and is in walk-in condition, selling complete with all contents fitted by an interior designer plus a landscaped garden.
A small selection of two-bedroom apartments are also on offer at The Parks – two Ashie cottage apartments at £149,000 and two Broom designs, which are en-suite, from £163,000.
Meanwhile, the success of Hedgefield Apartments, off Culduthel Road, means there are only two luxury two-bedroom homes with lift access remaining, and here too, incentives are available for those quick off the mark.
Prices at Hedgefield start from £209,000.
