Home improvement enthusiasts are in for a treat later this year as the Scottish Home Show returns to Aberdeen Conference Centre for the third time.
The show runs from September 26-28, when hundreds of exhibitors will be on hand to share industry insider tips and trends to create the home of your dreams.
The show will spotlight the best products and design ideas in the home improvement market.
On display will be some of the most luxurious home and garden merchandise, innovative technology, gadgets, garden design ideas, conservatories and the very latest in home interiors, kitchens and bathrooms.
Premium homebuilder Dandara has committed its support to the event as main sponsor and confirmed exhibitors already include big names Town and Country Apartments and John Lewis.
Those looking for advice on how to improve their properties inside or out will also enjoy celebrity guests including building guru Tommy Walsh – known particularly for his role in TV garden renovation series Ground Force – and Linda Barker, former home improvement TV presenter and talented interior designer.
Both will host a series of demonstrations over the weekend covering many aspects of DIY.
Darren Ross, director of event organiser Xcite Media, said: “We are delighted to welcome the SHS back to the AECC, this year, introducing more exhibitors from all over the UK. The 2013 show saw over 11,000 visitors attending across the three days and we anticipate similar numbers again this year.
“We are really grateful to Dandara for their continued support. They’ve been with us for three years and their support as main sponsor this year is a great boost to the show.
“As well as outdoor- and indoor-related exhibitors, we are also excited to welcome back luxury supercars, a vintage caravan and additional activities for older children, as well as our creche.
“Plus we are catering for all golf enthusiasts to make sure they don’t miss the Ryder Cup 2014 coverage while they are at the event. We have lined up viewing areas specifically dedicated to the tournament, so there’s no excuse to stay at home.”
Dandara sales manager Gillian Roberts said: “Having Linda and Tommy on hand adds even more kudos to the show.
“It’s an exciting opportunity for visitors to the Scottish Home Show to speak to them in person and I’m sure their presentations will be standing-room only as people from the north-east listen in for that elusive hint or tip that will help them complete a project.
“We are really proud to continue to support the Scottish Home Show. It attracts thousands of people who are looking to find their dream home, and I can’t wait to introduce them to Dandara’s new communities in
Aberdeen – Hazelwood and Stoneywood – which are in high demand.”
