More than 26,000 square feet of space in one of Aberdeen’s most prominent new office developments has been released to the market as the transformation of a key site continues.
Annan House, which is phase one of The Grande development, is at the heart of the North Dee Business Quarter and next to the Union Square shopping centre.
The eight-storey building will house the new North Sea headquarters of independent oil and gas development and production company EnQuest.
Two floors of the complex are being made available to let, with future tenants able to benefit from facilities including a gym, changing rooms, cafe and training area.
Flexible workspace ranging from 10,687sq ft to 26,874sq ft is available and interest has already been strong as Knight Frank, the sole agent for Annan House, markets “a rare opportunity” in central Aberdeen.
Knight Frank partner Katherine Monro said: “This Grade A office space at Annan House will be one of only a few opportunities available for occupation in Aberdeen city centre come June next year and we envisage interest to be high.
“The entire first and second floors are being released to the market and there is real flexibility in what is being proposed.
“It is possible both floors, amounting to 26,874sq ft, will be taken by a single occupier but there is the potential for the floors to be let separately.”
She added: “Location is undoubtedly one of the key attractions to Annan House, with the North Dee Business Quarter flourishing and benefiting from its position neighbouring Union Square’s retail and leisure offering and strong transport links.
“Aker, Petrofac, Oil and Gas UK, GDF Suez, Noble Denton and CNR International are all based in close proximity and that is an excellent endorsement of an area which is establishing itself as one of Aberdeen’s primary business districts.”
Short and long term leases are being considered for the office space in Annan House, which is expected to be available from the end of the second quarter of next year.
