Flat out bargain to be had in Inverness

Post Thumbnail

This autumn is when Inverness College UHI is scheduled to open its doors and welcome in students at its new location at Inverness Campus and at the Scottish School of Forestry at Balloch.

Bearing that in mind, it’s thought many people have been looking at the Inverness property market with a view to finding a home that might make a buy-to-let property which could be leased to students.

This one-bedroom, first floor flat at 21C Grant Street, in the Merkinch area of the city, may just be what they are looking for, but as it’s on the market at offers over £65,000, it would also make an excellent first-time buy for someone starting out on the property ladder.

Front

A nice, bright home, it is in good order throughout and is being sold fully furnished. The accommodation is reached via a communal entrance with secure electronic keypad entry system and intercom. From the first floor there is a shared door to a small shared hallway from which there’s access to the flat. Once inside, the accommodation includes an entrance hallway which gives access to the shower room, double bedroom and lounge. Access to the kitchen is via the lounge.

The lounge has two large windows with views to the River Ness while the kitchen is fitted with floor and wall units and comes complete with an electric hob and oven with hood, Hotpoint washing machine, microwave, fridge and freezer.
The flat also has a tiled shower room and a double bedroom with windows to the side of the building which also offers views to the River Ness.

Outside, there is some parking available to the rear of the building. Grant Street is on a bus route and there are a number of handy shops in the vicinity. From here it’s short walking distance to the city centre.
