David Brown has launched its Mini Remastered – a luxuriously re-fitted original.
Featuring a bespoke interior with a modern touchscreen infotainment system, the Mini Remastered offers a high-end take on the iconic classic.
More than 1,000 man hours go into each car, ensuring that each aspect of the Mini is of the highest standard. An amazing 400 hours of this time is spent on the paint alone.
The inside features full-grain leather embossed with the David Brown Automotive logo on the front and rear seats. Illuminated dials and a classic Moto Lita steering wheel also help give the Mini Remastered a classic look brought thoroughly up to date.
The engine powering the Mini is a reconditioned 1,275cc unit, linked to an original four-speed manual gearbox. In base specification, the engine produces 60bhp, with this figure rising to 75bhp for the Cafe Racer.
The Mini is completely handbuilt using fresh body panels, and customers have the ability to develop their own exterior paint alongside a wealth of other customisable options.
Two special editions of the Remastered will be available from launch – Inspired by Cafe Racers and Inspired by Monte Carlo.
