Renault has opened the order books for its new five-seater Koleos SUV, with prices starting at £27,500.
The large D-segment SUV will be available in two different trim levels, with the Dynamique S Nav serving as the entry-level variant, while Signature Nav models will cost up to £34,200.
The Koleos is available with two diesel engines – a 1.6-litre unit with 128bhp, and a larger 2.0-litre power plant that produces 173bhp.
The 1.6-litre engine serves as the entry-level offering, and is available in the Koleos with two-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox. The more powerful 2.0-litre engine is available solely with Renault’s All Mode 4×4 system – which allows motorists to switch between auto, lock and 2WD modes – and a choice of either a six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.
The level of safety equipment available on the Koleos is impressive, with entry-level models being fitted with a suite of advanced driver assistance systems as standard. These include Advanced Emergency Braking System, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Hill Start Assist.
All Koleos models also benefit from rear parking cameras, as well as front and rear parking sensors as standard.
While the Dynamique S Nav might be the entry-level trim, standard specification is generous. Features include a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation, a panoramic sunroof, part-leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control and 18-inch alloys to name but a few.
Signature Nav models build on this by adding 19-inch alloys, LED headlights, leather upholstery, and a larger 8.7-inch touchscreen R-LINK2 multimedia infotainment system.
The Renault Koleos is available to order now, with customer deliveries expected to begin later this summer.
