It might be famous for food and drink, but the Taste of Grampian has more to offer petrol-heads than you might expect.

As John Torode and Spencer Matthews are cooking up a storm in the main ring, those with an interest in cars will be well catered for at the motoring show.

From vintage classics to brand-new four-wheel drives, this year’s motoring display promises to offer something of interest for enthusiasts of all ages.

Whether you’re in the market for a new family car or just fancy a nosy at some of the high-spec models on offer, the motor show at this year’s event is set to be one of the biggest yet.

With stands from businesses around the north-east, as well as plenty of cars on site, we have had a sneak preview of what’s on offer.

Returning after a successful day at last year’s event, I&K Motors of Inverurie is ready and raring to go with a selection of specials on offer at the event.

Family run since 1983, the firm has spent more than 35 years in the driving seat of the north-east, with various discounts and deals available on the day.

Suzuki aficionados will be pleased to see C&M McDonald present, complete with specialist team members available to help you on your journey to a new car.

In 2015, the firm was announced as the new Suzuki dealership for Aberdeen and the surrounding areas, and is keen to show off its wares to Taste of Grampian attendees

For pickups, vans and four-wheel drives, Finnie 4×4 is the expert and will be on hand to offer help and advice.

If classic motors from yesteryear are more up your street however, then you’re in luck as there will be a range of vintage cars and motorbikes also available to view on site thanks to the organisers of the Blast From The Past rally.

Taste of Grampian takes place this weekend on Saturday June 1 at the Thainstone Centre just outside Aberdeen.

The event is Scotland’s biggest one-day festival and as well as the motor show, visitors can enjoy cookery demonstrations, gin, beer and wine masterclasses along with live music and more than 200 stalls.
