The heavens might have opened but that didn’t stop car enthusiasts making the pilgrimage to Crathes in Aberdeenshire on Sunday.
Usually visitors flock to the small village to visit its historic turreted castle, but last weekend the 16th century attraction took a back seat as a collection of classic cars came to town.
The event saw classic cars and bikes from all eras line up on the showground
for a day of motoring nostalgia.
With umbrellas and anoraks at the ready, the hardy car enthusiasts browsed hundreds of gleaming vehicles from ordinary to exotic, while music and food trucks were on hand to keep the rest of the family entertained.
