A huge number of spectators turned out to enjoy the delights that were on offer at the two-day Bon Accord Steam Fair last weekend.
Visitors enjoyed getting up close and personal with more than 400 historic vehicles including Showman’s engines, road rollers, miniature steam engines, tractors and commercial vehicles as well as classic and vintage cars and bikes.
A spokesman for the Bon Accord Steam Engine Club, who organised the event, said: “We also had a celebration for one of the engines which is 100 years old. The engine is a Fowler road locomotive called Finella, which was supplied new to a threshing contractor in Auchenblae in 1914.
“The Kintore Pipe Band piped her round the ring playing happy birthday and afterwards she was presented with a letter from The Queen which was read out to all.”
