Nine years after it first cut a dash and went on to establish itself as a modern-day Audi design icon, the all-new Audi A5 Coupe has undergone both a technological transformation and an artfully crafted styling evolution.
It has been brought absolutely up to date and a fresh, contemporary look has been introduced but retains the graceful presence and elegant character of the original.
The new model uses a multi-material construction method which trims 60kg from its predecessor, making it the lightest body in its class and adds more interior space, a longer wheelbase and a larger luggage capacity.
Under the bonnet are two TFSI and three TDI engines, with outputs ranging from 187bhp to 282bhp, up to 17% more powerful and as much as 22% more efficient.
Those looking for more power can find it with the turbocharged V6 TFSI in the all-new S5 Coupe which delivers 349bhp and 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds.
UK ordering is expected to open towards the end of the summer.
