The north-east’s first five star hotel for cats will open its doors later this month.
The facility, located at the Cross of Jackston near Inverurie, comprises ten suites each individually decorated around the theme of a different holiday destination.
There is also underfloor hearing, iron beds big enough for two and a climbing tree for guests as well as views over Bennachie and surrounding countryside.

The hotel came about after Louise Forrest and husband David decided to set it up after trying to find a suitable boarding for their cats Caesar and Luna.
She said: “A few years ago, I was unable to find anywhere locally that I would feel comfortable leaving my two fur babies when we went on holiday and that’s when the idea of the Furs came about.”
“When you head off on holiday you want to feel confident that your pets will be comfortable, happy and well-cared for and we provide this and much more.
“Our aim is to give your pet a more enjoyable and relaxing holiday than your own and our promise is to look after each of our guests as if they were a member of our own family.
An open day will take place on Saturday, December 15 between 12-4pm.
