The development work is in progress already at St Cyrus Holiday Park. A £350,000 investment is under way to improve and upgrade the site, situated in Montrose and owned by Wyldecrest Parks, one of the largest park home operators in the UK.

The refurbishment programme includes new roads throughout the park as well as a handful of upgrade works to develop the site, and the company has a new maintenance engineer onboard already to keep on top of these upgrades once completed.

Wyldecrest Parks is investing strongly into its holiday park in Scotland and hopes that this development strategy will bring increased tourism to the whole region.

“I’m very pleased with this improvement work; it’s an investment
that comes just in time,” said Alfie Best, Wyldecrest Parks’ chairman.

“We are working to improve our holidaymakers’ quality of life, but also moving forward, to offer even more people the chance of spending true quality time with friends and family at this stunning site, located in such a beautiful area, full of potential.”

The park, which has also been known for organising various fundraising events over the years, has just recently donated two of its old caravans to a local charity institution.

Located between the traditional fishing village town of Montrose and the bustling city of Aberdeen, the holiday park sits next to the St Cyrus National Nature Reserve and it has, at the moment, 67 holiday homes with stunning views across the coast and the countryside.
The modern caravans are gas central heated, double glazed and come with TVs to give a real home from home feel to holidaymakers.
Just a short stroll away from the park is the best kept secret of the Highlands – St Cyrus beach, which is usually deserted and accessible from the rear of the park.
But there are also other sandy and beautiful beaches just a five-minute drive away, as well as being home to a number of world-renowned golf courses.
The prices for a three-night stay at this holiday park start from just £222, depending on the season. But, as a summer incentive, Wyldecrest Parks is offering £3,500 off a brand new caravan holiday home.
St Cyrus Park is the only Wyldecrest holiday site in Scotland at the moment, but the company also owns other residential parks, located in Dunoon, Perth and Edinburgh.
The Essex-based company, valued at £200million, has a total of 44 residential and holiday parks spread across the UK and has plans to carry on expanding the business until the end of the year.
