It’s been a frustrating start to the season for snowsports fans but Gavin Reid decided to take the risk and head to Glencoe resort with his friends Phill Mcgrath and Simon Whitey.
“We almost didn’t bother as we thought there wouldn’t be enough snow to link a run from the top of the main basin to the bottom,” he said.
“But there was. We managed two hikes up to the top before we spotted this line down Creag Dubh.”
Gavin captured the day on his GoPro.
“It was was a linked run 3/4 of the way down and snow was perfect. It ended up a great day and I’m glad we went.
“It satisfied our need until this winter season really kicks off – fingers crossed.”
