For the eighth year running, Cadbury is supporting the National Trust for Scotland (NTS) and presenting a great day out for all the family – an Easter egg trail. There will be trails at 50 NTS venues across Scotland, including several in Grampian, Moray and the Highlands and islands.
In Aberdeen and Grampian, trails are taking place at a number of places, including Fyvie Castle, Crathes Castle, Haddo House, Craigievar Castle, Drum Castle, Mar Lodge, Castle Fraser and Leith Hall Garden and Estate.
Celine Mutch, events manager for the north-east region, said: “Our charity has lots for your little eggsplorers to discover all year round, from gardens and battlefields to countryside, castles and adventure playgrounds. What better way to spend Easter than to come along to one of our trails and earn a chocolaty reward.”
Visitors to the properties are promised a day out that will inspire your child’s inner adventurer and transform them into an eggsplorer. They can follow the trail, collect the clues, solve the puzzle and be rewarded with a delicious Cadbury Egghead. Some events are free, while others carry a small charge. Venues taking place include:
