After his death from cancer, toddler Logan Main’s parents honoured his memory with a charity set up in his name.
And this year, their annual Moray fundraiser will stage the first public performance of a song about the youngster.
The parents of three-year-old Logan formed Logan’s Fund in 2009 after his death.
Since then, they have held a yearly family fun day in Lossiemouth – and they are plotting their biggest bash yet later this month.
Logan’s Fund is preparing to release the song Always a Rainbow, which has been penned by local artist Tish Tindall.
They hope it will generate cash that can go towards helping other youngsters battling cancer.
Singers from the town’s Rock Academy performing arts school, which Ms Tindall co-owns, will join members of the public at Lossiemouth playing fields on Sunday, August 28, to perform it for the first time.
The song is about Logan’s life, and the legacy his family have created in his memory through the charity.
A spokesman for the charity said: “The song will make this year’s event pretty special, I’m sure it will be quite emotional.
“The fun day and the charity are both growing year by year, which is great to see.
“We have a few new attractions this year, like a dog show, which are designed to bring more people in.”
The bash will commence at noon, with an accompanying car boot sale taking place from 10am onwards.
The pipes and drums section from RAF Lossiemouth’s 2622 Squadron will get the festivities under way, marking the first time the event has had a full pipe band.
The dog show will launch at 2pm, while cheerleaders, kickboxers and gymnasts plan to impress onlookers with athletic displays.
There will also be pony rides, archery sessions, inflatables and rides.
