Like Transformers, the robots turn themselves into machines
The isle of Skye has been the location for a number of major Hollywood movies lately.
From Prometheus to Spielberg’s BFG, Skye is a favourite with moviemakers.
And this week it welcomes another crew – this time for the latest installment of the Transformers franchise.
Transformers: The Last Knight is the fifth movie in the blockbuster series of science fiction films based on the popular 1980s toys.
You’ll have to wait to summer next year to see Skye get a starring role in the film, which also features Laura Haddock, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Mark Wahlberg.
The crew were filming and doing aerial shots in the Quiraing and Old man of Storr area.
