A 50-year-old man has been charged following five thefts from industrial premises in the Torry and Nigg areas.
The crimes occurred between May and August, with metals valued at a high three figure sum being stolen.
Officers from the Police Scotland CID Proactive Team in Aberdeen have charged the 50 year old man from the city and he is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Constable Cameron Bruce who led the investigation said, “I would take this opportunity to ask owners and employees of businesses to review the security at their premises to ensure they are satisfied with the arrangements they have in place.
“Should anyone wish assistance with this, advice can be provided by Police Scotland Crime Reduction Officers.”
