A man has been seriously injured after coming off his bicycle while travelling along the A82.
Scottish Ambulance Service received a number of 999 calls at around 5pm of reports of a man in his 30s coming off his bike.
The local ambulance crew attended.
A spokesman for SAS said: “The man has significant injuries and the air ambulance is on route to the scene.”
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said police are also in attendance and the road is closed in both directions just north of the junction at Invermoriston.
She added: “The road is expected to be closed for some time. Drivers are advised to avoid the area, delay travel or use an alternative route until the road re-opens.”
