Blow dry your troubles away with advice from some top stylists.
Keeping up to date with the hottest looks and top trends can be exhausting, especially when it comes to the fashion and beauty industry.
Figures such as the Kardashians, Gigi Hadid, the Olsen twins, Alexa Chung and Poppy Delevingne show us how to strut our stuff. And now an Aberdeen salon is following the styles of some of our favourite celebrities by launching its own style bar with eight bespoke looks.
Linton & Mac in Aberdeen city centre was established by Jennifer Linton and Joanna MacDonald. The girls and their stylists are always looking to the catwalks, fashion and street style for inspiration on the latest trends.
Meet the stylist: NATALIE
Natalie Stephen is 28 and has always been obsessed with fashion. Her mum is a hairdresser and owns her own salon in Fife.
Natalie said: “I started off working in a salon as an apprentice, and went to college on day release, which allowed me to learn a lot.”
She first wanted to be a fashion designer, because it has always been her inspiration. Hairdressing was the next thing on Natalie’s list to be involved with instead.
She said: “I love restyling, and the transformation process of clients. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing how changing someone’s hair colour or style can make the biggest difference to how they look and their confidence.”

The Bridget Bardot beehive. Seventies curls are coming back big this season, but I adore a good beehive.
Meet the stylist: ROSS
Ross Hume is 26 and also had a hairdresser mother who has been a big inspiration to him. He left school aged 15 and went straight to work in a salon.
Ross said: “I recently won a place on L’Oreal’s ID artistic team which is incredible. I will be getting to do a lot more session and editorial work, and there are so many opportunities which can potentially come from it.”
Ross finds that his female clients love undone hair. They want to make it look perfectly undone so it’s all about the small details. He said the colours seem to be very natural now, with wavy beach hair being popular too.
“There are so many guys now coming into salons and it’s great to see them wanting to come and enjoy the experience instead of running out the door.”

I rate a mullet. To see girls rocking a short mullet again would be insane.
The three main products you will need to achieve undone hair:
Plea – a volumising agent which can be used on wet or dry hair to give it some guts
Constructor – A heat protector which keeps the memory you’re trying to create for the hair
Crêpage De Chignon – A mineral texture spray which acts like a plumper to give added texture
1. Spray some plea into hair wet and blow dry.
2. Spray more plea back on hair and dry it in. This will achieve extra guts and layering to hair.
3. Spray constructor all over and use a large conical wand and wrap hair round it, keeping the ends straight.
4. Tip hair upside down and apply Crêpage De Chignon, then manipulate how you want it to sit.
1. Use the appropriate shampoo for your hair type. 2. Apply a bathe, a treat and a mask regularly. 3. Invest in high-quality homecare styling agents. Make sure you have best ones for your hair.4. Regular cuts at a good salon.5. Always use professional colours when colouring hair.
