Shetland Coastguard’s Rescue-900 helicopter was sent to take the 46-year-old from the boat in the North Sea at 7pm. The vessel was located between 120 and 140 miles south-east of Sumburgh. A spokesman for Shetland Coastguard said the fisherman was suffering from a sickness. He was taken to the island’s Gilbert Bain Hospital after arriving onshore. He added: “We had one small incident earlier, it was a medi-vac from a fishing boat. It kicked off at 7pm.”
