The Maggie's Centre in Aberdeen offers lifeline support for the North-east
An Aberdeen cancer support centre has received a four-figure donation from Aberdeen Asset Management.
Magggie’s Centre, which provides a warm and welcoming space for people with cancer and their families to drop in, will use the funds towards its daily running costs.
The centre, which opened in 2014, has around 40 visitors making use of its support services each day.
Maggie’s Centre fundraising organiser Megan Davies said the donation would “make a meaningful, lasting impact upon the lives of people from across Aberdeen who visit their local Maggie’s Centre”.
