A pair of rescue cats who “fell in love” in the care of an animal charity are looking for a permanent home.
The Scottish SPCA is looking to rehome feline couple George and Spook who have become inseparable since they were put together at the rescue centre in Inverness
Inverness centre manager Elaine Floyd said: “Spook and George didn’t arrive together however they fell in love as soon as their eyes met and are now inseparable.
“George is a very outgoing and friendly boy who looks out for Spook as she can be a bit shy. They do say opposites attract.
“They would suit a quiet, peaceful home where they are the only cats in the household as this will allow Spook to gain some confidence and trust with her new owner and surroundings.”
George has ginger markings, while Spook is black in colour.
Meanwhile, a cat handed into the charity’s base in Caithness is also looking for someone to love him.
Bobo is currently at the Scottish SPCA shelter near Dounreay.
The white moggy is quite shy – but very friendly once he becomes comfortable with people.
Centre manager Jimmy Gunn said: “Bobo is quite a timid little guy, but once he gets to know you he’ll let you pet him.
“He’s a bit of an attention seeker who wants all the love and attention to himself, so would be best suited to a quiet home without young children.
“We are hoping that love truly is in the air this Valentine’s Day and someone will give this gorgeous boy the loving home he deserves.”
Anyone who can any of the cats a permanent home is being asked to contact the Scottish SPCA on 03000 999 999.
