Crew member dies after being airlifted from fishing boat

Police have confirmed that a crew member of a fishing boat has died after being airlifted to hospital yesterday morning.
The death is thought to be related to a medical matter and next of kin are being informed.
The man was airlifted by Shetland Coastguard from the French fishing vessel Cap Saint Georges north east of Unst after the call was raised at around 8am.
He was flown to the Clickimin landing site in Lerwick being being transferred to hospital.
An injured man meanwhile was also removed from the Norwegian trawler J Bergvoll into Lerwick’s Victoria Pier on Thursday morning by the Knab pilot boat before being taken to hospital.
