Police have launched an investigating into the “unexplained” death of a man at an address in Monymusk.
The 64-year-old man has not yet been identified, but his body was discovered on Friday at the St Andrew’s area of the village.
Investigating officers say it appears there are no suspicious circumstances.
A police spokesman today said: “Police were called in relation to the sudden death of a 64-year-old man in St Andrews, Monymusk at about 3pm on Friday, March 24 March.
“Whilst inquiries are ongoing at present, the death is being treated as unexplained is not believed to be suspicious.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
