A care home in Lochaber, which has been closed for two weeks, has now reopened to visitors.
Moss Park Care Home at Caol, near Fort William, closed on March 20, after some residents contracted a stomach bug.
A spokeswoman said: “It wasn’t the norovirus as the residents concerned just suffered from sickness. We closed to visitors as a precaution, but everything is back to normal now.”
Norovirus, sometimes called the winter vomiting bug, as it is more common at that time of year, causes diarrhoea as well as sickness and is often accompanied by headaches and a slight fever.
Moss Park, which can accommodate up to 40 residents, offers dementia, respite and nursing care.
