A young girl has been captured on video feeding crisps to a deer in the Highlands.
Chelsea Duncan was out exploring Glen Etive with her parents when a herd of deer approached her.
The family originally took the trip to the Highlands to put dad Gordon’s camera skills to the test – he was keen to photograph the Highland scenery.
They also hoped they’d get a chance to see some deer while they were there.
Mum Mhairi said: “Little did we know they’d be all over the place and right by the track road. We began tempting them with some apples which they very quickly munched.
“When the apples ran out Chelsea tried them with cheese thins and crisps. They loved the cheese thins and ready salted crisps but screwed their noses up at the salt and vinegar flavour.
“The mummy deer kept nudging the baby deer away from the food and wouldn’t let it eat anything – they were fascinating to watch.”
Glen Etive is not just popular with deer though – its natural beauty has also drawn the attention of Hollywood filmmakers and is the backdrop for blockbusters such as Braveheart and Skyfall.
