Aberdeen’s first ever Vegan Festival will take place in the city later this month.
The festival will take place from 10am at Pittodrie Stadium on Sunday May 28.
British marathon runner Fiona Oakes, who won the Antarctic Ice Marathon and the North Pole Marathon, will be guest speaker at the event.
She runs desite losing a knee cap from an illness when she was 17.
Fiona, who has been a vegan since she was six, also runs Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary and is a patron of the Captive Animals Protection Society.
At the Essex-based sanctuary, she cares for 400 animals including horses, pigs, sheep and dogs.
There will also be a talk from Grampian Hunt Sabs about fox hunting in Scotland.
