Party leaders will face off tonight in the first of a series of General Election debates.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will face off against Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron and Ukip’s Paul Nuttall in what is sure to be a fiery exchange.
Plaid Cymru’s Leanne Wood and Green co-leader Caroline Lucas will also take part in the two-hour show.
Theresa May has refused to take party in the debate, while Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn declined if the Prime Minister is not present.
The broadcaster has said the invitation to take part remains open until the programme starts at 8pm.
Mr Corbyn issued a direct challenge to the Prime Minister to take part in a debate during an Facebook Live Q&A session on Monday.
He asked: “Do you not think the British people deserve to see me and you debate live and on television?”
Mrs May responded: “What I think is more important is actually that I take questions directly from the voters.
“I don’t think people get much out of seeing politicians having a go at each other, I think people want to hear directly.”
The debate will be broadcast live tonight at 8pm on ITV.
