Moment firefighters rescued one-tonne bull from bog on Skye
ByReporter
This is the moment a team of firefighters pulled a one-tonne bull from a bog after it got stuck.
Officers from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were made aware of the incident at around 3pm on Tuesday afternoon and spent several hours trying to remove it.
The bull had fallen into a peat bog around ten miles outside of Portree on Skye.
Two fire engines and heavy rescue unit workers used spades and a winch to free the animal.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “The bull was not injured and left in the care of the owner.”
