Police are investigating after a woman was found with serious injuries in the city centre. One line of inquiry is trying to ascertain of she fell within a flat in the Huntly Street area of Aberdeen. Police were called at about 6.45am after the woman was discovered in a hallway of the flats on the corner of Union Street and Huntly Street. A police spokeswoman said: “We were called after receiving reports of concern for an injured female. “We are still making inquiries as to how she came by these injuries; it is possible that she fell. “She has sustained serious injuries and has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.” No details of the casualty have been released. The area remains cordoned off this morning and there are police in the area.
