A third person has been charged and is expected to appear in court tomorrow after a woman was found seriously injured in a city flat.
Officers were called to a block of flats on Huntly Street, near the junction with Union Street, at around 6.45am on Friday.
The area was cordoned off while police carried out their investigation and a forensic crew was also at the scene gathering evidence.
Residents in the building – which contains more than 20 people – were locked out of the flats while the investigations were ongoing.
A police spokeswoman this morning said: “A 38 year-old woman and two males aged 35 and 30-years-old, have been charged in relation to an alleged assault and robbery on a 43-year-old woman in the Union Street area near to Huntly Street, Aberdeen, at around 6.45am on Friday, May 26.”
They are all anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, May 29.
Detective Inspector Norman Stevenson added: “We would like to thank members of the public for their assistance and patience while inquiries were carried out in and around the area.”
