The prediction of a hung parliament in the general election exit poll comes after a campaign which has seen wild variations in the fortunes of the parties, according to pollsters.
Here are all the exit polls in full:
NOP/Ipsos Mori poll for the BBC, ITV News and Sky News
The exit poll indicated the Tories would secure 314 seats, Labour 266, the SNP 34 and the Lib Dems 14.
Survation poll
It had the two parties almost neck and neck as voters prepared to cast their ballots,
Survation’s final pre-election survey put the Tories on 41.3%, with Labour on 40.4%, the Liberal Democrats on 7.8%, SNP on 3.6%, Ukip on 2.4% and the Greens on 2.3%
ICM Poll
ICM’s findings in a poll for The Guardian put Mrs May’s party on 46%, up one point compared with a poll on Monday, with Labour unchanged on 34%.
