The crew of a Shetland ferry has raised more than £3,000 for charity by taking a sponsored walk across the islands.
The crew of Serco NorthLink Ferries’ MV Hjaltland made the donation to Crohn’s and Colitis UK.
Kathryn Fullerton, who is the shop supervisor on board the passenger vessel, led 13 of her fellow crew mates as well as seven of her friends along the six mile route from Lerwick to Scalloway on Sunday, June 4
Ms Fullerton said: “We are all extremely pleased with the amount raised from the sponsored walk.
“Crohn’s & Colitis UK is a fantastic charity and we have all worked really hard to not only fundraise but to also bring awareness of the great work that the organisation does.
