A male cyclist has been injured in a rush hour accident this afternoon at the Queen Elizabeth II bridge roundabout on Wellington Road in Aberdeen.
The man was involved in a crash with a van at around 3.55pm today.
A police spokesman said initial reports suggested his injuries were not serious, but that he had been taken to hospital.
He added: “We were called to a collision at the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge between a cyclist and a car. The cyclist has not sustained any life threatening injuries and the road is now fully open.”
The road was partially blocked and police officers were in attendance to direct traffic.
